First licensed in 1982 as KB4BRK I passed the 13WPM test to get my General (N4IRX) and then the Advanced written to get KK4BF but I never had the patience of desire to get my Extra back in the 1980’s.
Was off the air until 2014 when I really got into DXing and decided to take the CWA classes. Many thanks to those people who give their time to help people like me learn to love CW! I’m a Kenwood guy (but all brands are fine) and run a TS-990S, an SPE Expert 2K with an 80M loop, a Hexbeam and a Butternut Vertical. I’m at about 250 confirmed countries and hoping to make honor roll with my new found CW skills. I’m a chemist by education but spent the last 15 years in Management. I’m a Private Pilot, love to Skeet and Sporting Clays shoot and all things electronic. Thanks for allowing me to join your ranks. This biography is what appeared in Solid Copy when the member joined CWops.
