First licensed in 1982 as KB4BRK I passed the 13WPM test to get my General (N4IRX) and then the Advanced written to get KK4BF but I never had the patience of desire to get my Extra back in the 1980’s.
Was off the air until 2014 when I really got into DXing and decided to take the CWA classes. Many thanks to those people who give their time to help people like me learn to love CW! I’m a Kenwood guy (but all brands are fine) and run a TS-990S, an SPE Expert 2K with an 80M loop, a Hexbeam and a Butternut Vertical. I’m at about 250 confirmed countries and hoping to make honor roll with my new found CW skills. I’m a chemist by education but spent the last 15 years in Management. I’m a Private Pilot, love to Skeet and Sporting Clays shoot and all things electronic. Thanks for allowing me to join your ranks.
