I was first licensed in San Diego 1978 as KA6AUS and soon upgraded to general. Per the insistence of my good friend Ed W7GVE I finally got my Extra ticket a few years ago.

I’ve been operating mostly CW throughout the years, but I do enjoy some of the other modes and challenges. I really enjoy building ham related stuff that my mind can comprehend like antennas and experimenting with antenna designs. I like vintage radios and own a few.

I’m involved with the local CW ops here in Kingman through the Kingman Amateur Radio CW Operators Club – K7KGM
