I am delighted to be a member of CWops. This organization is so important to the teaching and preservation of CW. Thank you so much to all those who are dedicated to this effort. Special thanks go to Buzz, AC6AC, my CW Academy Intermediate and Advanced Advisor who nominated me and to my sponsors, Tamara VA7ETR, Alex K6AUR, Jim WT8P, Barry K6ZGW, and Doug KR2Q. Thanks also go to Jack AK7O who started me out in CWA as my Beginner Advisor and Jed AD7KG my Basic Advisor who continued the CW adventure for me.
I was licensed in 2017. My husband Michael K7OYZ(SK) and I set up our ham shack. The fun keeps going. Improving CW. sending and copying skills for use in contests and in the future, nets, are my main CW goals. Ham radio activities that interest me besides CW are focused on traffic nets, learning software options, and friendships gained through the ham radio community.
Other current interests that I have are making greeting cards, sewing, quilting, genealogy, pyrography, and most important – family. My life is full.
I hope we will make contact on the air.
