I’m very excited to become a part of the CWops group. A big thank you to W6SX, KR2AA and N8DNA for sponsoring me and to VE3KIU for the nomination.
I first participated in a CWops mini test using my Heathkit HW-9 and a straight key in 2019. While I did make a couple of contacts, I could see that I needed to up my game. The CW Academy was very helpful.
I still participate sometimes with a small radio – lately a QCX and an SW3B – but my main rig now is the Icom 705 which I run into an 84’ end fed antenna. I also enjoy portable ops and POTA. I post some of my on-air activities including some mini tests on my little YouTube channel.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone on the air.
