My call is KU9S, CWops 3322, and my name is Jerry. Age is 78 and been licensed since 01/18/1977, first as WD9APR, then as KB9YH, and then on 03/10/1983 as KU9S. My activity until now has been chasing DX and currently have 309 entities confirmed mostly on CW, but also many on SSB on the bands 10 thru 80 and have 100 plus on all 8 bands in that range.
My other almost current hobbies include fishing and was also a motorcycle rider for 54 years, having ridden in 46 of the lower 48. I raised 3 children and still have 2 of them. I have been a widower since 2015 as my wife of 54 years passed away in November of 2015. I have been retired since I turned 65 and worked 46 years as a jig mill precision machinist and always looked forward to going to work as I worked in small family owned companies.
